Current Wicked Bird Media Opportunities:
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT/INTERN
Wicked Bird Media needs a Production Assistant/Intern for feature-length documentary film about the horror genre. Responsibilities include working closely with filmmakers to log and transcribe interview footage from subjects and assisting with on-location film shoots. The majority of the work will be done remotely, so living in the Boston-area isn’t required, but it is a plus.
Must have a strong interest in film and/or television, be a self-starter and trustworthy (you will be transcribing interview footage from high-profile subjects within the film industry that absolutely cannot be leaked), a high-speed internet connection, be at least 18 years or older, and have the ability to commit to at least 5 hours a week. Internship will be unpaid, last around 3 months, and will include film credit and an IMDB.com listing. We are accepting applications at all skill levels and are willing to train the right people and there is an opportunity for future paid freelance work. SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR/INTERN
Wicked Bird Media is seeking a self-starting, self-directed and dependable social media intern to help with daily social media maintenance on multiple Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages.
Responsibilities include coordinating daily social media posts and helping define future social media strategies. Work will be done remotely, so living in the Boston-area isn’t required, but it is a plus. Must be trustworthy, have your own computer, be at least 18 years or older, and have the ability to commit to at least 5 hours a week. Those with an interest in film an/or television is preferred.
This internship is unpaid, can either run on a 3-month assignment contract or turn into a freelance and paid position working with new clients in the future, and is a great opportunity for someone wanting to prove that they have what it takes to keep up with the social space!
